Industry: Smoking Alternative Products
Project: Website & E-commerce Design & Development
Jist is breaking ground in the world if smoking cessation. Their electronic cigarettes offer smokers a friendlier, more socially-acceptable alternative to smoking. IQ: TRAFFIQ Professional Services was brought on board to help translate Jist's lifestyle vision into an online environment: cool, clean, sexy and hip. IQ: TRAFFIQ Professional Services created a sleek, stylish site to introduce users to their brand. The site utilizes flash to create the effects of haze and clean blue smoke, and offers users videos, interactive modules, and organized information about this new technology.
IQ: TRAFFIQ Professional Services also helped Jist to develop an e-commerce storefront to sell their product. Our integrated, customized e-commerce technology allows for a seamless transition between information acquisition and purchasing, allowing for an easy, intuitive user experience and positive on-site experience.
Industry: Mobile Web
Project: Website Redesign & Development
Crisp Wireless helps businesses extend their mobile space, and wanted a website that would convey their interactive savvy and intelligence in an online environment. IQ: TRAFFIQ Professional Services created a unique, flexible site for Crisp, with content management system that allows website material to be easily and intuitively changed by the client.
Industry: Social Networking Site – NASCAR
Project: Website Design & Development
ROWDY is the #1 rated NASCAR podcast. ROWDY hoped to build a social networking website that supported their show and would provide NASCAR fans a venue where they could start a blog, upload photos and video, create groups, answer polls, and learn information on drivers, tracks, and upcoming races. IQ designed a destination where fans can do all of those things through a highly functional and intuitive user interface.
Built on "Ruby on Rails", ROWDY.com represents the best of web 2.0, open-source content management systems supported by custom integration and development.
Through Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, and their daily podcast, ROWDY is able to acquire new customers. The ability to retain and grow that customer base comes from ROWDY's ability to leverage user-generated content, unique editorial content, viral marketing, and premium NASCAR content.
Industry: Financial – Asset Location
Project: Website Design & Development
If a company you’d never heard of sent a letter offering to find money you didn’t know you had, you’d be suspicious. EquiSearch sends hundreds of those letters each week, and they needed a site that would turn skeptics into customers.
The new site had to immediately establish the company’s credentials for both individuals and institutions. At the same time, it also had to make a unique and oft misunderstood business model crystal clear. A brief Flash introduction and supporting copy established the brand and the integrity of the business.
From there, EquiSearch wanted holders of lost assets to actually start the recovery process. But they weren't ready to support a Web application to process claims. The new site solved the problem, and laid the groundwork for the next release, with a step-by-step walk through that takes users from making a claim to receiving money in the bank.
Industry: Interactive Online Resource – Baby Names
Project: Website Design & Development
TopBabyNames.com was created for Meredith Publishing by IQ in the fall of 2008. TopBabynames.com features over 60,000 names in their database, along with their popularity rating in every state in the United States. The site offers comprehensive information about name rankings by both state, gender, popularity and category.
In the site design, IQ chose to use a gender agnostic color palette that would be appealing to both male and female prospective parents, concentrating on a fun design that would present the information as cleanly and easily as possible. Flash functionality is integrated throughout the site, to allow fun surprises to be discovered by the user: the main navigation and the interactive U.S. map on the homepage, allowing the user to explore individual states to learn their name statistics.
Industry: Magazine Publisher
Project: Display Media Campaign Design & Development
In 2007, Hearst Publishing commissioned IQ: TRAFFIQ Professional Services to create a set of banner ads to help promote new content areas of their website on Cosmopolitan.com. IQ: TRAFFIQ Professional Services created an interactive banner ad campaign that not only captured the user’s attention with bold photography and graphics, but built in functionality that allowed the user to select which particular article captured their interest.
Industry: Fashion
Project: Website Redesign & Redevelopment
In September of 2011, MyNines approached IQ:TRAFFIQ Professional Services for assistance in redesigning and redeveloping their newly-launched web entity, MyNines.com.
Not simply a sample sale site, MyNines actually aggregates all the sample sales on the web, to allow the user a one-stop shop from which to explore the best deals.
Specifically, MyNines pain point was handling the massive amount of content available to the user in a fluid, intuitive fashion. We worked intensively on both design and information architecture.
IQ: TRAFFIQ Proofessional Services helped create and refine on-site functionality, such as the "Held" item functionality that lets users save favorite items, and "Sales Alerts," allowing the user to save and store specific sale criteria.
Ultimately, the new design and interface resulted in MyNines relaunching their website with a great deal of press. Overall, the site dramatically outperforms previous iterations, and has garnered a strong and loyal following in the sample sales market.
Industry: Entertainment
Project: Website Redesign & Redevelopment
Tempe12 is a website built upon a stunningly simple premise: to showcase the twelve most beautiful women currently attending Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Once begun as a student hobby, the website has since developed a significant fan base and press recognition, including multiple mentions on the Howard Stern radio program. Unfortunately, with hundreds of loyal users and a photo catalog swiftly growing into the thousands, Tempe12 discovered their original website infrastructure was collapsing under the strain of increased site traffic and more demanding interface requirements.
Tempe12 approached IQ: TRAFFIQ Professional Services to perform a complete overhaul of their online property, and to create a site that would not only serve its present needs, but integrate a suite of new functional requirements that the company had on their wish-list.
We first began with intensive R&D meetings with the client to study how the site behaved currently, determine how we could improve on that behavior, and explore what functionality we could include to deliver a more intuitive, engaging user experience. We studied competitors' trends and site offerings, to determine solutions that not only implemented some of these ideas, but vastly improved upon them.
With this information as a groundwork, IQ: TRAFFIQ Professional Services delivered a new, robust information architecture plan for the Tempe12 website, integrating new features such as member log-in functionality, a registration wall after a set number of photo views, and voting abilities. From this architecture, our team crafted creative concepts that aspired for a look-and-feel that would appeal to Tempe12's user-base of twenty-something single males.
The result is a website that far surpasses anything that Tempe12 has had before, both functionally and aesthetically. Tempe12 now has a site they can monetize and track their audience within.
Industry: Luxury Auctions
Project: Website Redesign & Redevelopment
Offering some of the most exotic and rare cars on the market, Gooding & Company is recognized as one of the leading automobile auctions worldwide, selling the top three most valuable auctioned cars in 2010. As a premier luxury product vendor, it is very important for Gooding to have an online identity that matches their aesthetic and offers a unique, intuitive platform by which buyers can browse their current auction catalogue.
Since 2008, IQ: TRAFFIQ Professional Services has been working intensively with Gooding to help them fully realize their online persona and potential, transforming what was once simply a commerce site into an informative online resource for the luxury car enthusiast. Our first step was a full redesign of their website, implementing a style and functionality that permits their fantastic car imagery to take center-stage. We then developed an auction catalogue that allows user to quickly and easily move through multiple auction lots, with subtle registration prompts for acquiring more information around the models they are interested in.
Recently, IQ: TRAFFIQ Professional Services implemented a fully customized Ruby on Rails content management system that will allow Gooding & Company to build an online archive of their luxury car information for all their past and present auctions, thus allowing users to browse the wealth of information around their past and present car offerings.
Industry: Luxury Hotels
Project: Display Advertising Campaign Design & Development
For their new hotel entity, Trump Soho, the team at Trump aspired to attract a market significantly more young and web savvy than the market the brand commonly appeals to. To accomplish this, IQ: TRAFFIQ professional Services worked intensively with the Trump team on two alternative directions: a more traditional campaign, spotlighting the luxury and style synonymous with the Trump hotel identities, and an edgier, downtown campaign meant to appeal the younger, arts-focused audience that Soho tends to draw. Not only did we design the look and feel of the campaigns, but drafted much of the verbiage used in the ads, personally coining the campaign slogan, "Luxury Goes Downtown." Both display campaigns met with extremely high success metrics, and more importantly, opened the Trump Hotel Collective up to a vast market never before tapped.
Industry: Luxury Auctions
Project: iPhone Application
To accompany the Gooding & Company website that we built, IQ: TRAFFIQ Professional Services designed the Gooding iPhone App, an easy-to-use application that allows auction-goers to browse the most current Gooding auction offerings from the convenience of their mobile device, and highlight those they may wish to bid on in real-time. This valuable tool has not only garnered great praise in the car auction circuit, but took home the IAC Award for "Best Automobile Mobile App" in 2011.
Industry: Media
Project: Interactive Tour
To commence the launch of their new website redesign and redevelopment initiative, the Wall Street Journal commissioned IQ: TRAFFIQ Professional Services to create an interactive tour to guide users through the new functionality available on their website. Our team worked to create an intuitive, seamless user experience to make the site change as fluid as possible for their audience, integrating interactive comparison modules and step-by-step tutorials on how to use the new website technology.
To go along with the launch, The Wall Street Journal also commissioned our group to create a downloadable widget that would aggregate articles in subjects of interest to the user in a single, easy-to-use module.
